THE
BIBLE'S PLAN OF SALVATION
You must realize that you are
a SINNER.
"There
is none righteous, no, not one."
"For
all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God."
(Romans
3:10; 3:23)
You must realize that because
of your sin you will be ETERNALLY LOST.
"For
the wages of sin is death."
"...the
fearful, and unbelieving...were cast into the lake of fire..."
(Romans
6:23; Revelation 21:8)
You must realize that God
LOVES YOU and WANTS YOU TO BE SAVED.
"For
God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever
believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
"Herein
is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the
propitiation (sacrificial payment) for our sins."
"The
Lord is...not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to
repentance."
(John
3:16; 1 John 4:10; 2 Peter 3:9)
You must realize that Jesus
Christ PAID FOR YOUR SIN.
"Christ
died for our sins according to the scriptures."
"Christ
died for us."
"In
whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins."
(1
Corinthians 15:3; Romans 5:8; Colossians 1:14)
You must realize that your
GOOD WORKS DON'T SAVE.
"Not
of works, lest any man should boast."
"Not
by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he
saved us..."
(Ephesians
2:9; Titus 3:5)
You must, by simple faith,
ACCEPT CHRIST as your personal Saviour.
"As
many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to
them that believe on his name."
"Behold,
I stand at the door and knock; if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I
will come into him..."
"For
whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."
(John
1:12; Rev. 3:20; Romans 10:13)
You
Can Be Saved Today
Sincerely pray to the Lord, "Dear
God, be merciful to me a sinner, and save me for Jesus' sake. The best way I
know how, I do now receive Your Son, Jesus Christ, as my own personal Savior.
Amen."
Once Saved, You Can Know It
"He that hath the Son hath life;
and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life."
"These things have I written unto
you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have
eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God." (1
John 5:12,13)
