Surprises in Hell - Pastor David Martin

Jesus Christ preached on Hell more than He did Heaven. As a matter of fact, the Lord while on earth taught about the doctrine of Hell 4 times a year when He was conducting His ministry in the flesh. This sermon enumerates five surprises that an unsaved person may find when he or she dies without Christ and ends up in that terrible place called Hell.

"So, You Think You're Something, Do You?"
In this sermon we discuss the subject of human pride and godly humility. The Bible tells us in James 4:6 that God resists the proud but He gives grace to the humble. We all need God's grace, and humility is the attitude God is looking for in order to bless us with His divine grace.

"The Parable of the Sower"- Pastor Dave Martin
This sermon is taken from the eighth chapter of Luke's Gospel (Luke 8). It is one of the most familiar stories in the Bible. The emphasis of the message is on the heart of those who hear the word of God and their response to its message. We find according to Jesus Christ that there are four (4) types of hearts that people have. The condition of our heart determines the influence the word of God has on us. That is why it is so important for us to guard our hearts and cultivate one that is receptive to God's word.

The main passage of scripture for the sermon is James 3:1-12.

"The Last Words of the Word" - Pastor Dave Martin
This sermon looks at the LAST WORDS of the Bible as recorded in the FINAL CHAPTER of the Bible in Revelation 22, verses 6-21.  The God of Revelation and Redemption directed the Apostle John to pen these last words for mankind. No doubt they are IMPORTANT words that are worthy our consideration. Some Bibles have two words that appear at the close the book of Revelation. Those two words are: THE END. We all want to know how things end. After reading the back of the Book, you will know that the Christians are on the winning side!

"The Ten Commandments" - Pastor Dave Martin
Adolf Hitler claimed to have nullified God's Law in Nazi Germany. The United States Supreme Court prohibited their public display in schools in 1980. But God's Laws are still in effect, and still the basis of  human law in any civilized society. In this sermon Pastor Martin shows how God blesses a people who keep His commandments and curses those who do not.  Though we are by no means saved by keeping the Law, yet the Bible tells us in the book of Proverbs that "happy" are those who keep the law.  As Benjamin Franklin once said:  "God's prohibitions are not for our frustration but for our protection."  The Law shows us how imperfect we are in order to lead us to Jesus Christ for salvation from sin and victory in our Christian lives. The text is Exodus 20 and also Jeremiah 7.
