JUST LIKE A GOOD NEIGHBOR, JESUS IS THERE -- Pastor David Martin
The preacher takes his text from Luke 10:25-27, the story of the Good Samaritan. In this sermon we look at the man who fell among thieves and the man who helped him in the light of the Gospel message. We see the spiritual lessons that clearly illustrate man's need of salvation and God's remedy in Christ.

The Doctrine of the New Birth -- Pastor David Martin

THIS week's Sunday sermon was a doctrinal message concerning the teaching of  Christ found in John 3. In this passage of Scripture Jesus told a highly educated and religious man that for him to "enter" the kingdom  of God he must be born again. AS a matter of fact, Jesus taught that all people are in need of the new birth. HAVE you experienced this thing called the "New Birth?" HAVE you yourself been "born again"? I HOPE that you will listen and consider what the Bible says about this most important topic.

"The Power of the Gospel" - Pastor Dave Martin
This is an evangelistic  sermon based on the first sermon in the New Testament after Calvary, found in Acts chapter 2.  Pastor Martin navigates us through the doctrinal and theological minefield of this chapter which has been used by the charismatics and 'church' of christ groups to teach a false gospel. Even among Bible-believers there are various interpretations of Acts 2, but we believe this message will be a blessing to all and faithful to the word of  God. The preaching of the Gospel and the working of the Holy Spirit in conversion is plainly dealt with.

"From the Rags of Sin's Disgrace to the Riches of God's Grace" - Pastor Dave Martin
This is a sermon taken from the 9th chapter of 2 Samuel. It is the story of a man named Mephibosheth. He was the son of Jonathan, King David's friend, and the grandson of King Saul, the first king of Israel. This story has been preached for years to illustrate the Bible truth of "salvation by grace." This is a good salvation message for the lost, and one that will encourage every saved person. Share this with someone today.

"Behold, the Lamb of God!" - Pastor Dave Martin
This is a topical sermon based upon John the Baptist's announcement in John 1:29, pointing out the Lord Jesus Christ as the Savior of the world. Throughout the Old Testament,  God was telling us about the perfect Lamb of God that would come and make atonement for our sins so that we could be saved. In this message, we learn about the Lamb of God who came to redeem us.

"The Patient the Doctors Could Not Cure"- Pastor Dave Martin
This is a sermon taken from Mark chapter 5, verses 24-34, about the woman who came to Jesus for physical healing. She believed that if she could just touch the hem of His garment, she would be okay. The title of this sermon could also be:  "A Sinner That Religion Could Not Save."

"The Hope of the Unjust Man Perisheth" - Pastor Dave Martin
In this sermon taken from Proverbs 11:7, we ask and answer four questions about the unjust man. Of course, the unjust man is any unsaved man, woman, boy or girl who does not know the Lord Jesus Christ as personal Savior. But even though the Bible declares that the "hope" of the unjust man will perish, the Bible also makes it clear that the unjust man himself need not perish. He can be justified by faith in Jesus Christ and declared righteous and fit for Heaven because of what God did at Calvary, for it was there that  Jesus died for our sins and purchased our salvation with His precious blood.

"The Rich Man and Lazarus" - Pastor Dave Martin
This is a simple sermon taken from Luke 16:19-31. The subject is life after death, and expounds the story of the rich man who died and went to hell, and the beggar who died and went to heaven. In spite of what religious liberals have to say about hell, the Bible plainly teaches that there is a hell where lost sinners go if they reject God's only way of escape, which is salvation by grace through faith in His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ who died for us and rose again.

"CALVARY - God's Spotlight"
DARKNESS in Scripture is used a figurative expression to describe mankind in his lost condition, without hope and without God in this world.  So that the world would not be in total spiritual darkness, God has placed some lights here. Besides sending His Son to be the Light of the World, He has placed some other lights in this world: The Bible, The Church, The Individual Christian, and the Conscience. But there is another light that God has placed here that I call GOD’s SPOTLIGHT, and that is CALVARY.  The main text for this sermon is John 3:14-21.

"The Tragedy of the Titanic"
This sermon is based upon Psalm 69, and makes spiritual application of the greatest maritime disaster in history, the sinking of the "unsinkable" SS Titanic in the year 1912. The world we live on is a sinking ship, and each one of us has a day appointed in which we will disembark this old world and enter into eternity.  The Lord Jesus Christ is the captain of our salvation. We can be ready for the hereafter if we only trust Him as Savior. And we can help to rescue others who are sinking in the deep waters of sin and despair.
