We were privileged to have Dr. Ballew with us recently. Bro. Ballew has been preaching for over 50 years! He surrendered to preach the Gospel when he was 18 years old back in 1960. He pastored in East Tennessee for s number of years before going into the field of evanglism, which he has been doing for over 25 years now. This message is taken from the feeding of the multitude in Matthew 14. He shows how God can take your life, touch and transform it for the glory of God. He has an internet radio ministry called "Harvest Time" where you can hear him preach and teach the Bible everyday.

"The Tragedy of the Titanic"
This sermon is based upon Psalm 69, and makes spiritual application of the greatest maritime disaster in history, the sinking of the "unsinkable" SS Titanic in the year 1912. The world we live on is a sinking ship, and each one of us has a day appointed in which we will disembark this old world and enter into eternity. "Forgiveness"

"You Might Just Be A Reprobate"
I got this idea from the "You might be a redneck if...." jokes. The subject of this sermon is NOT A JOKE; the salvation of your eternal soul is not a laughing matter. Basically, if certain things are true of you, then that tells alot about you. In this sermon, based on 2 Corinthians 13:5, we ask several questions of the listener. If these things are true of you, then you might just be a reprobate - that is, LOST and UNSAVED, still IN YOUR SINS and in NEED OF SALVATION. Give this a listen, and examine yourself, and see if you are really "in the faith" or not.

"The Resurrection of Jesus Christ"
This is the Pastor's Easter 2011 Sunday morning sermon. Bro. David preached from Luke 24 on the Resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ. In realilty, every Sunday is the Lord's Day, but one Sunday of the year we celebrate as "THE" Lord's Day because it is the time of the year that our Lord was crucified and arose from the dead. We prefer to call Easter Sunday RESURRECTION Sunday. The resurrection is the keystone in the arch of Christianity. Without the resurrection there is no Christian religion, and certainly no salvation. But thank God, His tomb is empty and Jesus is at the right hand of God the Father making intercession for all those who come to God by faith in Him (Heb. 7:25).
