The Perfect City: New Jerusalem --- Pastor Dave Martin
The old time Christians used to sing alot about their eternal home, and so should we. If you look at some old song books, you will find alot of songs about Heaven. This sermon is taken from Revelation 21 and 22, where John the Revelator gives us the Holy Ghost inspired description of the Heavenly Jerusalem that is built four-square, with walls of jasper and gates of pearl and a street of gold. Jesus told us that He was going to prepare a place for His people, and that place is the City of the Saved. It is a PERFECT city, unlike any this world has ever seen. If you are not a citizen of of Heaven, you can apply and be accepted for membership by repentance and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
"A Profile of God: His Mystical Attributes" - Pastor Dave Martin
Moses asked, "Who is like our God?" The Bible has the answer to this question. Simply put, there is no God like our God. In this sermon lesson we discuss the natural attributes of God. These are the distinctive characteristics that are uniquely possessed by God alone and make Him "God." I refer to them in the sermon title as 'mystical' only because they are things that are a mystery to our limited, finite minds. We cannot comprehend God's holiness, sovereignty, omniscience, etc. We can only acknowledge them to be true, because we believe what God has revealed about Himself through Nature, the Bible, and His Son. It is a comfort to know that our God is unlike any other God and that He is concerned about us, His creatures.

"The Parable of the Sower"- Pastor Dave Martin
This sermon is taken from the eighth chapter of Luke's Gospel (Luke 8). It is one of the most familiar stories in the Bible. The emphasis of the message is on the heart of those who hear the word of God and their response to its message. We find according to Jesus Christ that there are four (4) types of hearts that people have. The condition of our heart determines the influence the word of God has on us. That is why it is so important for us to guard our hearts and cultivate one that is receptive to God's word.

"The Power of the Gospel" - Pastor Dave Martin
This is an evangelistic sermon based on the first sermon in the New Testament after Calvary, found in Acts chapter 2. Pastor Martin navigates us through the doctrinal and theological minefield of this chapter which has been used by the charismatics and 'church' of christ groups to teach a false gospel. Even among Bible-believers there are various interpretations of Acts 2, but we believe this message will be a blessing to all and faithful to the word of God. The preaching of the Gospel and the working of the Holy Spirit in conversion is plainly dealt with.

"When A Christian Backslides"- Pastor Dave Martin
In this sermon taken from Psalm 51 we see several things that happen when a child of God "backslides" - that is, when a Christian displeases His Lord through sin and finds himself out of fellowship with God. The writer of this Psalm was an Old Testament saint of God who was one of God's best men (King David) yet he fell into sin and out of fellowship with his God. If it happened to him, it can happen to any one of us. Take heed!
